[ShipperGuide] How to Add and Delete Carrier Contacts?

The Carrier Management page in ShipperGuide lets you add, update, or delete carriers in your network, view analytics on their past bid performance, and create groups by your preference to help better manage your operations and streamline your carrier selection process. If you would like to add or update your carriers in bulk via import, please see the following article: How do I bulk add/update my carriers?

To add a carrier:

1. On your left dashboard in ShipperGuide, click Manage, then Carriers.

2. On the Carrier Management page, click Add carriers, then Add a Carrier.

3. A side panel will appear on the page. Search for and select an existing carrier from the database. The carrier’s details will be auto-filled.

3. A confirmation pop-up appears — click mceclip5__3_.png to delete the carrier from your network.

Frequently Asked uestions (FAQ)

Q: What's the difference between selecting a carrier from the database vs. entering it manually?
A: Selecting from the database auto-fills the carrier's details for you. Manual entry is for carriers not yet in the database — you'll need at least the Carrier Name, DOT number, and Primary Email.

Q: Can I undo a carrier deletion?
A: No. Deleting a carrier removes it from your network permanently, so double-check your selection before confirming.

Q: What does the Automations field do?
A: It lets you turn tender auto-accept on or off for that specific carrier.

Q: Is Primary Email required?
A: Yes — it's the contact that receives bid emails, so ShipperGuide requires it for every carrier.

Q: Can I delete more than one carrier at once?
A: Yes. Check the box next to each carrier you want to remove, then click the Delete button, which updates to show the number selected.

In Shipper Guide, how do I change the carrier email? I have clicked on Edit and changed it and saved it, but it does not save the way I change it.

    Please help.
