Opendock September 2025 Release Notes

This month’s release brings powerful new features and refinements across Opendock — making dock scheduling, yard visibility, and driver check-in smoother, faster, and more connected than ever.

New Features

YMS

Manual Asset/Container Addition (YMS) — Users can now manually create visits for assets or containers, improving yard control.

Dropoff Asset/Carrier Visibility — Carriers dropping off assets without an appointment now have better visibility and tracking.

Redesigned Tooltip for Occupied Spots — Improved UX on the Yard Map to quickly identify occupied locations.

Gate

Driver Check-in Company Selector — Drivers can now select existing carrier companies during check-in for faster, more accurate processing.

SmartGate

Outgate Events Flag (BE) — Introduced a feature flag to better manage outgate events and ensure safe rollouts.

AI Gate Feed Landing Page — Launched a public page highlighting our AI Gate Feed capabilities for greater lead engagement.

Scheduling

Multi-PO Support UX — Enhanced support for multiple purchase orders per appointment.

  • Data Model Updates — New fields in asset and container tables improve data relationships and reporting accuracy.

  • SmartGate Improvements — Added autoDepartAsset configuration for more flexible automation.

  • Spot Type Migration (YMS) — Improved yard data structure to support new spot types.

  • Terminology Update — “Carrier Company” renamed to “Carrier” for consistency and clarity.


Bug Fixes

  • QR Code Check-in Errors — Fixed intermittent issues at the gate causing QR code validation errors.

  • Multi-PO Display Mode — Resolved missing display mode for appointments with multiple POs.

  • HTTP 429 Error on Luna — Addressed excessive request rate causing error messages.

  • Task Filtering — Fixed issue with filters not displaying the correct set of tasks.

  • Yard Map Duplication — Resolved rare container duplication issue.

  • Appointment Pagination — Fixed pagination errors for large appointment lists.

  • Warehouse Editor Access — Corrected permission errors that blocked editing access.
