Dock Scheduling

Calendar Events for Appointments Scheduled, Rescheduled or Confirmed!
Now, when appointments are Confirmed, Scheduled,  or Rescheduled on the Email Notification we're adding an ICS attachment  which means they can be added as events to the Calendar (when email providers are integrated with the Calendar).

YMS Improvements

1. Expanded Search in Waiting Assignment Area
   Users can now search not only by Carrier Name but also by Reference Number, Confirmation Number, and Load Type.

2. Improved Spot Selector Experience
   When assigning a spot via the selector (instead of drag-and-drop), the UI now expands and focuses directly on the selected spot.

3. Easier Unlinking of Appointments
   Previously, unlinking an appointment from an asset visit was only possible through the Appointments Page → Arrivals Box.
   A new “Unlink Appointment” button has been added to the Yard View side panel for faster access.

4. Improved Manual Asset Visit/Container Flow
   Many facilities complement the driver check-in process by manually adding visits and assets to the yard.
   This is also critical for newly onboarded facilities that want to mirror their existing yard inventory to start managing it in our YMS.
   We’ve significantly streamlined and improved this flow for better usability.

Gate Management

1. Smarter Check-In Input Handling
   Extra spaces before/after entering a reference or confirmation number were preventing matches with appointments.
   The system now trims these spaces to improve matching accuracy.

2. Clearer Visit Type Labels & Descriptions
   Updated labels on the Check-In form to reduce confusion and help drivers select the correct option:

   • Live Load or Unload – I’m loading or unloading my truck while remaining on site.

   • Drop Trailer/Container (Unhook) – I’m unhooking my trailer or container and leaving without it.

   • Pickup Trailer/Container (Hook) – I’m hooking up to a trailer or container and leaving with it.

   • Drop & Hook Trailer/Container – I’m unhooking my trailer or container and hooking up to another one.

SmartGate (AI Gate Feed)

• New Landing Page for Non-SmartGate Orgs
  When organizations that are not yet using SmartGate click on the menu option, they will now see a new modal:

  • “Unlock SmartGate Computer Vision”

  • Highlights SmartGate’s value adds

  • Displays a video demo of SmartGate in action

  • Includes a “Contact Sales” button for lead generation

Fixes

• YMS – Appointment Completion Automation
  Fixed an issue where the automation wasn’t triggering when departing assets from the Waiting Assignment List.

• YMS – Timestamp for “In Progress”
  When an asset visit is departed via Live Yard View, its appointment moves to Completed.
  Previously, if the appointment was at Arrived status with In Progress enabled, the system skipped the In Progress timestamp.
  This has now been corrected.
