Opendock’s Yard List View offers a comprehensive and organized way to manage all assets currently in your yard. From here, you can search, filter, and update assets to maintain complete control over yard operations.

✅ Accessing List View

1. Navigate to Live Yard View from the left-side menu.

2. Select “List View” at the top of the yard interface.

The List View displays a table of all assets currently in the yard, including:

• Trucks

• Trailers

• Containers

Each asset record includes key information such as asset ID, location, status, timestamps, and more.

✅ Searching and Filtering Assets

The search functionality allows you to quickly find any asset based on information tied to it.

You can search by:

• Container/Trailer Number

• Area or Spot Name

• Status

• Carrier

• And more!

This makes it easy to locate specific assets without manually scrolling through the grid.

✅ Customizing the View

• Order or Reorder Columns:

  Drag and drop columns to arrange them in an order that makes the most sense for your workflow.

• Sort by Key Fields:

  Sort assets based on attributes like:

  • How long they’ve been in the yard

  • Current status

  • Location

Tip: Sorting by “Time in Yard” is especially useful to identify assets that have been sitting too long and may require attention.

✅ Updating Asset Statuses

Within List View, you can also directly update asset statuses without needing to switch back to grid view.

1. Locate the asset in the list.

2. Use the status dropdown to update its current state, such as:

   • Arrived

   • Loading

   • Unloading

   • Ready for Pick Up

   • Departed

This provides a quick and efficient way to keep all asset records accurate.

✅ Switching Back to Grid View

To return to the visual yard map:

• Click the arrow icon in the upper corner of the List View.

This will bring you back to the Grid View, showing the physical location of the asset within the yard.
