[Opendock] Adding Carrier Instructions

Carrier instructions can be added directly within each warehouse’s settings. These instructions will appear on the homepage of your warehouse in the scheduling portal and will be included in email notifications sent to carriers.

They’re useful for sharing important information such as:

  • Check-in and check-out procedures
  • Gate or dock access instructions
  • Required documentation
  • Safety guidelines or compliance requirements
  • Any warehouse-specific rules or expectations

To add carrier instructions:

  1. Go to the Warehouse tab
  2. Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to the desired warehouse
  3. In the Warehouse Info tab, scroll down to the Instructions to Carriers section
  4. Add your message under Warehouse General Instructions
  5. Click Save Warehouse Info
