Accessing and Logging into Analytics Portal
1. Login into ShipperGuide TMS.
2. Click on “Analytics Portal” found under the Analytics section of the left panel menu. This shortcut will direct you to the Analytics Portal landing page.
You may also access the Analytics Portal directly using the following link: https://analytics.loadsmart.com/login.
If you are accessing the Analytics Portal via ShipperGuide TMS, you will automatically be signed into the Analytics Portal being directed directly to the Analytics Portal landing page:
If you are accessing the Analytics Portal using the link or if you are directed to the sign-in page (see image below), click “Sign In as ShipperGuide” and use your ShipperGuide login credentials.
Reports Menu
The Reports dropdown menu will list all available reports either standard or custom built for your shipper account.
Report names that contain “SG” signifies that the report uses data from your ShipperGuide TMS account.
The Reports layout can have multiple “Pages.” Pages are collections of tables, visuals and filters that form a narrative about your data. Pages can usually be thought of as “dashboards” or a general overview of specific data.
Example of standard reports
Report Dataset
For ShipperGuide TMS, or SG reports, the data you see will pertain to the shipper you first signed up with.
If your ShipperGuide TMS account is under a multi-location setup and your location is under a parent shipper account, the data accessible will strictly be from the original location that invited you to sign up to ShipperGuide TMS, irrespective of your role in ShipperGuide TMS (standard, admin, etc.).
For any questions regarding the dataset location or access you have, please contact our support team at support@shipper.guide.
Report Data Refresh Cycle
The Analytics Portal’s data does not report in real time.
While the data is being refreshed multiple times a day, it does not update instantly with ShipperGuide TMS activity. Therefore it is best used for reporting needs and not for real-time operational needs.
Interactive Data Exploration
You can drill down on data, filter, and sort interactively inside each report, facilitating data explorations and insight discovery.
For interactive filtering, as you click on any entity (e.g. carrier or lane) inside the report, the views will adjust to the data pertaining to that entity.
For drilling in, clicking on up and down arrows allows you to drill data from lower hierarchy to higher hierarchies, or vice versa.
To use the drill mode, the Power BI visual must have an explicit or implicit hierarchy.

Exporting Data
To export report data from the Analytics Portal, hover over a table or visual and click on the three horizontal dots. This will open a dropdown menu, click “Export data.”
Finding the Export Button
After clicking “Export data,” you will have different export file format options:
Export file format options
Export File Format Descriptions:
- Data with Current Layout: preserves the shape of the visual as shown in the Analytics Portal table when data is exported to Excel.
- Summarized Data: exports the same data but as a flat table of rows and columns. Available to download as an Excel or CSV format.
- Underlying data (unavailable): exports additional data that are not displayed but are relevant for the visual. This option is currently disabled on the Analytics Portal.
Demo Report List Menu
Accessing the Demo Report page, allows you to view sample additional exemplary reports that are not available within the standard report offerings.
The reports found under this section are sample data reports showcasing examples of custom reports our team has created that have helped teams analyze their company’s performance.
Our customer reporting services are not limited to the reports available on this Demo Report Menu page. We are eager to work with you and your team to assist with creating reports with any format or metrics of your choosing. We will continue to add to this page as we continue to create reports that have brought value to our partnering teams.
To make a custom report or metric request click “Contact us today for a quote” on the Demo Report page or contact your Loadsmart representative.
Integrations Overview Menu
The Integrations Overview was created for shippers currently setup with custom integrations. Here users with integrations set up with Loadsmart products are able to see the details and statuses of data transfers related to their integrations.
FAQs
Can I customize reports myself?
Besides some available features that allow you to select the desired columns on a table, you will not be able to do further report customizations.
To configure metrics, filters, visuals, tables or other objects to your liking, you need to submit a request for custom reports, metrics or integrations. To do this, go to “Demo all reports” and click on “Contact us today for a quote” to submit requests for custom reports, or alternatively contact your Loadsmart representative.
Why are reports not showing my latest data?
The Analytics Portal refreshes your data multiple times a day and does not update for real-time activity from its applications (i.e. instantly in seconds or minutes). Thus, it’s not a tool that supports high-frequency operational workstreams.
Can I edit my data in the Analytics Portal?
No, the Analytics Portal is a read-only experience. You are not able to make any changes to the dataset in the Analytics Portal.
Why am I not seeing all of my data?
If you are a ShipperGuide TMS user under a multi-location set up and you are only seeing data for one location/facility, you will only have access to see data from the locations your user was created under.
Although you may have administrator or supervisor access, viewing the data set you are able to access is limited to the location of which your user was invited to join when initially joining ShipperGuide TMS.
Why am I getting stuck in the Loading State?
If for some reason you are not able to access your reports and remain within the “Loading Report” page, we recommend clicking on any other report in the REPORTS menu dropdown.
This should refresh the page and unblock you from the permanent loading state.
