Gate Management:

  • Allow line breaks within post Check-in instructions

  • Check-in window:

As a warehouse user I would like to determine how early and how late a driver can check-in to an appointment so my dwell times are calculated correctly.

Solution: Warehouses can now determine how early and how late, in relation to the appointment start time, drivers are allowed to use Carrier Self Check-in. Being outside of the check-in window time, they won't be able to complete/confirm the check-in to the appointment.

Go to Gate Management Settings to configure the window:

  • FIX: Gate Management Check-in Confirmation Populates Appointment Notes Field:Problem: When a Gate Management check-in user confirms an appointment, they are provided with the “Appointment Notes” field as a placeholder by default. This field shows any data that currently exists within the “Appointment Notes” field including HTML markup. I don’t believe this is the ideal user experience, because:

    • It gives Gate Management check-in users the ability to eliminate existing appointment notesThe existing appointment notes were entered by either the scheduling user or the warehouse users, so the Gate Management check-in user probably should not have the ability to remove them;

    • Those notes may pertain to the driver and should not be visible to them.

Solution: Driver’s no longer see appt notes added by warehouse users, but they are still able to add notes to the appointment at check-in

  • Improve Self Check-in Forms area:

    • Problem: the Check-in forms are available for all warehouses to manage in the Fields & Forms tab, although only Gate Management customers can truly use it (being a paid add-on). But, we don’t inform or explain any of that in that page. This may lead to users not understanding what those forms are form. Besides that, we are missing an opportunity to get leads from existing customers interested in trying it out.

    • Solution: We’ve improved communication on the Tab for Fields and Forms, making it clear Gate Management is a paid add-on feature.

General Improvements and Bug Fixes:

  • Carrier ETA Update after Appt Start Time: Brokers do not always know the ETA of their hired carrier. Sometimes when they do reach a carrier it may be after the actual appointment time. It would be nice to have brokers / carriers provide an ETA even after the scheduled appointment time.

  • [Internal Users]: Filter Carrier vs Warehouse Users + Count

  • [Internal Users] Ability to edit Carrier Contacts: Edit company and add/edit SCAC code

  • [Scheduling Portal] Ref Number helper text: Problem: The HELPER TEXT in the Reference Number settings field does not show in the Carrier Portal.   The HELPER TEXT in the Carrier Portal is just the duplicate of the field name. When you book internally the HELPER TEXT correctly displays but it does not in the carrier portal.

  • FIX: Add "FAQ" item on top navigation bar: There's no way to access community articles from the portal.

  • FIX: Unique refNumber checks should not consider soft-deleted appointments

  • FIX: Security Report for SOC2 determined audit_log is too accessible by users who should not have permission

  • FIX: Invalid undefined org state when loading helios
