If your facility loses power or internet connectivity therefore severing the connection to your SmartGate system, you can create a new observation.
If this happens, keep a manual log so that you can update your dashboard with these transactions once the connection has been restored.
To add an observation:
- Go to Gate Feed.
- Select at the top right corner of the screen
- Enter all applicable information about the observation and click Save.
You will see a message pop-up:
This confirms that the observation has been created successfully and the new observation will populate in the dashboard as seen below.
Since there was no camera connectivity at the time there will be no images present. You will see next to the transaction noting that this was manually created.
