How do I cancel a shipment?

Need to cancel a shipment? You’ve come to the right place! This article will walk you through the process of canceling a shipment on ShipperGuide.


1. Navigate to the Shipment List and click on the shipment to open the shipment details.

2. Click   > Cancel.


3. A pop-up will ask to provide a reason for cancellation. The reason for cancellation will not be shared with the carrier. Click .


4. The shipment status will change to Canceled. 


A red banner will appear at the top of the shipment with the date of cancellation, the user who canceled the shipment and reason for cancellation.



If attempting to cancel a load you have booked with Loadsmart, you will need to reach out to your Loadsmart account representative or email directly with your BOL reference number. 



5. An email notification of the cancellation will be sent to the carrier.
