How do I cancel a shipment?

Need to cancel a shipment? You’ve come to the right place! This article will walk you through the process of canceling a shipment on ShipperGuide.

 

1. Navigate to the Shipment List and click on the shipment to open the shipment details.

2. Click   > Cancel.

 

3. A pop-up will ask to provide a reason for cancellation. The reason for cancellation will not be shared with the carrier. Click .

 

4. The shipment status will change to Canceled. 

 

A red banner will appear at the top of the shipment with the date of cancellation, the user who canceled the shipment and reason for cancellation.

 

 

If attempting to cancel a load you have booked with Loadsmart, you will need to reach out to your Loadsmart account representative or email sales@loadsmart.com directly with your BOL reference number. 

 

 

5. An email notification of the cancellation will be sent to the carrier.
