Before creating new loads in Carrier TMS, it is important to set the load number start value. The load number start value will be assigned to the newest load created in Carrier TMS as the unique identifier (load number) for the load.

The load number start value will increase by increments of 1 for every new load created in the system. 

Important: Users will be required to enter a numeric value for the load number start field; changes will not save if the field is empty or contains a non-numeric value. The field will default to “1”.

To set the load number:

1. On your left dashboard, go to Settings > General Settings >  Organization

2. Under Load Number Start, enter the preferred load number value for the newest load that will be created in Carrier TMS and click Save Changes
