In Carrier TMS, driver profiles can not be deleted/removed from the system, only activated or deactivated.
To access the drivers’ list page:
On your left dashboard, go to Fleet > Drivers
On the drivers’ page, driver statuses will display under the column Status. The list will default with the filter All to display all active and inactive drivers. Change the filter to Deleted or Active to show inactive or active drivers.
The status of the drivers will display as a toggle:
- Blue indicates that the driver’s profile is active
- Gray indicates that the driver’s profile is inactive
To deactivate a driver’s profile:
1. Filter the drivers’ list to show all active driver profiles.
2. Search for the driver.
3. Under Active, click on the toggle
4. A pop-up window will appear for confirmation to deactivate/terminate the driver’s profile. Optional, select the termination date, and enter the termination reason. If the termination date is not specified, the date will default to today. Click Terminate to deactivate the driver’s profile.
To activate/reactivate a driver’s profile:
1. Filter the drivers’’ list to show all inactive/deleted driver profiles.
2. Search for the driver.
3. Under Deleted, click on the toggle
4. A pop-up window will appear for confirmation to activate the driver’s profile. Click Activate to activate the driver’s profile.
