After an RFP has been finalized, non-awarded carriers can automatically receive an email to view their bid feedback, showing the percentage difference between their proposals and the awarded rate. This feedback aims to provide carriers with target value ranges for bidding on future RFPs. This article explains how to enable or disable it from your ShipperGuide account.
Shippers can choose to enable or disable this feature from the Procurement tab found in Settings.
How to enable or disable Carrier Feedback:
1. Click on the upper right corner of your ShipperGuide page.
2. On your Settings page, click Procurement tab.
3. Scroll down to the Rate feedback session. Click to enable Carrier Feedback emails, or
to disable them.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
What information do carriers see in the Carrier Feedback email? Carriers see the percentage difference between their bid and the awarded rate, giving them a sense of how far their bid was from the final price.
Who receives the Carrier Feedback email? Only non-awarded carriers on a finalized RFP receive this email. The awarded carrier does not receive it.
Can I turn Carrier Feedback on or off at any time? Yes. You can enable or disable it anytime from the Procurement tab in ShipperGuide Settings.
Will enabling this feature change how my RFP results are awarded? No. Carrier Feedback only controls whether non-awarded carriers get bid feedback after the RFP is finalized — it doesn't affect awarding logic.
Why would I want to enable Carrier Feedback? It helps carriers understand target pricing for your lanes, which can lead to more competitive bids on future RFPs run through ShipperGuide.
