Geofence is a Carrier TMS feature that automatically updates load statuses triggered when a truck enters or exits a facility's boundaries. 

You can set the boundaries by setting the geofence's radius (in miles) when dispatching a load and adding a new facility. Please note that the geofence radius can not be updated after creating the facility.

When an ELD integration is enabled, and the load's assigned truck is actively receiving tracking data from the ELD, the geofence will be triggered to update the segment statuses when the following events happen:

• The segment status will change to Active when a truck enters the first stop boundaries.
• The truck enters the first stop boundaries within the load's pickup time window.
• When a truck has exited the last stop boundaries, the segment status will change to Complete.

After completing all segments, the load will automatically be set as Delivered status.
