You have complete control over appointment notifications at both the Organization and Warehouse levels. These settings let you:
- Mute all appointment notifications
- Enable all notifications
- Enable or disable specific types of notifications
This allows you to tailor communication to your team and your carriers based on how each location operates.
Where to Manage Notification Settings
You can manage these settings at two levels:
Organization-Level Settings
Applies changes across all warehouses in your organization. To access:
- Go to My Organization
- Locate the Appointment Notifications dropdown
- Select your preferred option (Yes / No)
- Click Save Org Settings
To enable or disable specific notification types, scroll down and uncheck the notifications you’d like to disable after enabling the main toggle.
Warehouse-Level Settings
Overrides org-level settings for a specific warehouse. To access:
- Go to Warehouses
- Select the warehouse you want to manage
- Go to Settings
- Navigate to Appointment Notifications
Use the same steps as above to enable, disable, or customize notifications for that warehouse only.
Understanding Notification Email Headers
Each appointment notification email includes the following header details:
- To: The carrier’s email address
- Reply-to: Either the warehouse contact email or the email of the user who created the appointment
- BCC: Any configured CC emails, plus the appointment creator’s email
Mute All Appointment Notifications
Disabling notifications at the organization level stops all appointment-related emails from being sent to users and carriers.
To mute all notifications:
- Go to My Organization
- Set the Appointment Notifications dropdown to No
- Click Save Org Settings
Note: When disabled at the org level, you cannot manage individual notification types.
Enable All Appointment Notifications
Enabling notifications ensures all relevant emails are sent to users and carriers for appointment events.
To enable all notifications:
- Go to My Organization
- Set the Appointment Notifications dropdown to Yes
- Click Save Org Settings
Enable or Disable Specific Notification Types
To fine-tune your notifications:
- First, ensure appointment notifications are enabled (set to Yes)
- Scroll down and uncheck any individual notification types you don’t want to send
- Click Save Org Settings
You can also preview and edit the template for each individual type of notification:
Important Notes
1. If Appointment Notifications are set to No at the organization level, individual types cannot be enabled or disabled.
2. Notifications can also be configured per warehouse to allow for location-specific communication.
3. Warehouse-level settings override organization-level settings for that specific location.
